We collect canned goods and other non-perishable food to support our ministry partner, Kingdom Living Outreach Ministry, with their food bank and food give-away opportunities. Twice a month (2nd and 4th Tuesday, Noon-3:00), KLOM gives food away to anyone who comes through their doors. It is an awesome ministry and we are thrilled to participate. This food drive by our church helps stock their pantry and provide needed food to our community..
Kingdom LIving Outreach Ministries uses our former gym to provide worship services, food bank, and encouragement for our neighbors. God led this exciting ministry to us in order to provide His loving touch and assistance to our neighborhood. We welcome our brother and sister, Donald and Pam Thomas, who are the pastors of KLOM, in leading this new outreach effort. (At right, Pastor Thomas preaches during a recent worship service.)
Their website is under construction and will be included here when it is completed.
Their Facebook Page can be found by clicking on the image at right.
All Korean-speaking Clarksvillians (and those folks from Southern Kentucky) are welcome to worship with our ministry partner, Ecclesia Grace Korean CP Church, on Sundays at 12:30, together with Bible study and fellowship activities after worship.
AA meets at our church on Tuesdays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. This is a faith-based 12-step program to help alcoholics free themselves from the addiction of alcohol. With the help of others in the same predicament, individuals meet for confidential gatherings with the sole purpose of supporting each other through the process of becoming free from the chains of addiction.

The purpose of the Cumberland Presbyterian Women’s Ministry (CPWM) is to accept and share the love and joy of Jesus Christ through the ministry of women in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. We seek to do this as we pray, study God’s Word, and reach out to others through mission, service, encouragement and fellowship opportunities.
Always keeping an eye out for the needs of our community, our CPWM enjoys finding ways to help those in need. We have made "Blessing Socks," filled with toiletries and necessary survival items for the homeless in the Clarksville area. We have held highly successful yard sales that have helped to further support local missions. We have filled several "slightly used" purses with feminine hygiene items, soaps, brushes, lotions, and other items for the homeless. We have collected quilting and sewing supplies for "CAM" (the Coalition of Appalachian Ministry) in the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee. Our CPWM gives money to Urban Ministries and Manna Café every month. Helping others is our mission, and fellowship is our joy.
The CPWM of New Providence CP Church is an active group of women who meet the first Tuesday of each month (at 11:00) for fellowship, devotionals, and to further its missional purposes. Following this gathering, the women go to a local restaurant for lunch.
All women of New Providence CP Church are included in the CPWM
and always invited to become
an active part of it.
"Sandwiches & Scripture"
This new Bible study/discussion group provides our community a safe place to discuss specific "meaty" scriptures and topics. Last Thursday of each month, 11:30-12:30 in Fellowship Hall.
Bring your own lunch. We'll "chew" on Scripture and other topics during the one-hour time together.

GLOBAL MISSIONS:
Our denomination, the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, through its Missions Ministry Team, uses a program of endorsement as its means to deploy missionaries. (An endorsed CP missionary has the seal of approval of the CP Church, having met our criteria to be a missionary. We endorse both clergy and laypeople.)
Our global mission reaches throughout the world (Brazil, Cambodia, Colombia, France, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Japan, Mexico, Philippines, South Korea, Spain, and various closed countries).
Endorsement is ongoing in that all participants mutually agree to fulfill certain expectations to the CP Church as CP missionaries. The Missions Ministry Team provides direct supervision of endorsed missionaries.
NATIONAL MISSIONS:
New Providence CP Church also supports the various CPC national missions.
These organizations include
Cumberland Presbyterian Children's
Home (https://www.cpch.org/ )
Coalition of Appalachian Ministry (CAM)
National Farm Worker Ministry (NFWM)
LOCAL MISSIONS:
We lend a hand to Urban Ministries and Manna Cafe with needed resources for the homeless in the Clarksville area.
We have recently completed a food drive to help Urban Ministries through the last quarter of 2019 and the start of 2020.
In January, we will collect items needed at New Providence Middle School for the students and teachers.
If you are interested in getting involved, let us know!
We'd love to have your help with any of our ministries. Thank you!
